I would completely lie to you if I say that separating from my son was a great experience. Yes a total lie! It was enlightening though, and helped me realise so many things about myself and my surroundings. I am sure many other mothers out there have been through the same, and spent hours reading and researching about all the pros and cons of this. Ansiedad de separación - New York

Planeamos un viaje importante de crecimiento personal, todo está listo y estamos emocionadas de ir cuando repentinamente nos damos cuenta de que: somos madres y nos vamos a ir solas? Que? Aja, exactamente ese fue el sentimiento que tuve cuando luego de planear mi viaje me doy cuenta de que mi bebe Adam, quien jamás se había separado de mi, iba a experimentar 3 días sin mama y yo 3 dejas sin mi oruguita. Wow! Fueron dos semanas de stress, sin dormir pensando en que hacer, de querer cancelar todo y de cambios a último momento. Les digo que me sucedieron muchas cosas que hasta casi me hicieron cambiar de opinión hasta que finalmente, desafiando todos mis sentimientos encontrados, manejé hasta el aeropuerto, me monté en ese avión y me fue a New York! Bueno, hubo sentimientos encontrados, pero ya les cuento acá. My infertility story

I am a doctor specialist on infertility, and I went through infertility myself as a patient. Yes! It was an illuminating, learning experience of living through the same situations my patients go through all the time. Going through infertility can be a challenging life event, and one we will never forget. However, once we know what to do and how to surround ourselves by the right people things get easier. I don't mind it gets easy, I mean easier, because there is no way we feel things will get easy whatever we do. It is hard. I do admire those that go through life living hard situations and events that affect them deeply, and somehow manage to always keep their positivism. I learnt to be one of them. Mi historia de Infertilidad

Cada día mas y mas parejas se encuentran luchando con infertilidad. Es un hecho que las cifras de pacientes en esta área siguen aumentando y las causas son desconocidas en muchos casos. Cuando personalmente me enfrenté a la infertilidad fue toda una experiencia, sobre todo estando del otro lado como paciente y no como médico especialista. Las noticias y diagnósticos cada vez eran mas fuertes y complejos y tuve que aprender a aceptar hechos que jamás pensé que tendría que afrontar. Full time job working from home?

Work from home takes a lot of will and time to get everything done. But no many people think the same. Actually most people believe it is the easier paid job ever. Because workers are at home relaxing. This is completely far from the truth. Working from home has become a great way of making money and being productive at the same time. Without the pressure of having to go to work and the freedom of choosing the best timetable that works for you and your biological clock, then everything is great. Once you master the self-confidence of doing something for yourself, surrounded by your own environment, then the workplace conditions will also improve. It is just a matter of time and patience. My KAUST Life

I had a great experience living in Saudi Arabia, but living in KAUST was an even greater experience with all the amazing things I did, and the very strong bonds I made with people there. There are so many people from so many nationalities, and that gave me the opportunity to get closer to their own culture and to understand more about them. Cómo fue mi vida en KAUST

KAUST es un sitio muy lindo donde tuvimos la oportunidad de vivir por dos años. Fueron muchas las experiencias y las vivencias de compartir con una comunidad llena de personas distintas y con mucha calidez. La vida en Arabia Saudita en general puede ser compleja y muy interesante. Se requiere tener la mente bastante abierta para entender la cultura y las costumbres. Esto fue una parte importante de nuestra vida alla.
