Breaking up with your doctor

Sometimes when our doctor is not too receptive or understanding of our situation we can feel frustrated and even hopeless. Are we going to take the risk to break up with this doctor and find another one? Will the next one be the same? Are all doctors like this? Questions go through our heads, and we really believe that if a doctor is good in what he/she is doing, then we might have to deal with the lack of sympathy and humanity some of them can display towards their patients. I have been through that myself. As a doctor I know how it feels to be on the other side of the desk. This is why today I am telling you about my experiences, and what I would do.
